About See Me Therapy

My office is a safe place where one can come and feel no judgment to work on goals and improve daily functioning. I look forward to helping you pursue self-acceptance, healing and discovering ways to cope with life’s challenges.

My Outlook on Therapy…

I work best with clients who have experienced difficulties in their past which has led to trauma, anxiety, and problems with setting and understanding healthy boundaries. Navigating these challenges alone can be a daunting task. I look forward to helping you pursue self-acceptance, healing, and discovering ways to cope with life’s challenges. My office is a safe place where one can come and feel no judgment to work on goals and improve daily functioning.

I utilize both cognitive behavioral therapy and systems theory in my practice. I come from the standpoint that true change comes from both therapist and client collaborating and working together. I am passionate about helping people realize their full potential and experience happier and healthier relationships with themselves and others.

I am a Certified Nurturing Parenting Program Facilitator. The Nurturing Parenting Programs are a family-centered initiative designed to build nurturing parenting skills as an alternative to abusive and neglecting parenting and child-rearing practices. The long-term goals are to prevent recidivism in families receiving social services, lower the rate of multi-parent teenage pregnancies, reduce the rate of juvenile delinquency and alcohol abuse, and stop the inter-generational cycle of child abuse by teaching positive parenting behaviors.

My specialties include anxiety reduction, empowering women to be their best, and creating healthy boundaries to reduce stress.

I have been happily married to my husband since 2007 and we have three children, ages 5, 10 and 13. I have great perspective on the lives of working families and the struggles that come with this. Our family calls Chesterfield County our home and have a sense of connection to the community and the desire to make this a happy and healthy place.
